Betty and I attended Miles College together and I will always remember her beautiful smile, and cherish her friendship. My heartfelt sympathy to her son, Edward Jr. and granddaughter.

Betty was a light that could not be hidden. She always said encouraging words to me and others. The family of Azalene Pouncy expresses our condolences to the family.

Although I won't be able to attend the services due to illness, I want to extend my condolences the family. The Pouncy family is still strong and loving. We pray for strength and peace to this family, Cousin Doris Faye Powers Caldwell, Love to you all.

Since I'm living in Colorado now her granddaughter I can't come to the service because of inflation and cost of travel but many of you know me, it's Tabitha. My grandmother was an award winning educator, amazing grandmother, And most importantly an amazing caring, loving and thoughtful member of her community I'm going to miss her more than I can ever describe in words but at least now she isn't hurting and can be at peace.
