Obituary For Fred Ray Sims
Age 68, of Birmingham passed away Wednesday, November 11th. Survivors are three sisters: Lola Henry, Searcy Sims Crawford and Candis Sims White (Robert C., Sr.), two brothers, James L. Sims (Bobbie) and Richard Sims, Jr. Graveside service Wednesday, November 18th at 12:00 Noon from Elmwood Cemetery. Public viewing Tuesday 1-5 PM. Mask and Social Distancing Required. Arrington Funeral Home Directing.

I have known Fred since our first grade days at Hill School. He was always smiling and always kind. I saw him in Smithfield all of the time and he was forever, the same nice guy. In a world where things are becoming so hurried and difficult, it is a blessing to know some people stay the same. Fred is remembered as a good person and will be missed!
