Ethel M. Escott, 82 of B’ham passed away Saturday, April 11th. Funeral service Saturday, April 18th at 12:00 Noon from Bethel Baptist Church-Pratt City, 1708 Spencer Avenue, B’ham 35214. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Public viewing Friday 1 – 5PM. Arrington Funeral Home directing.

Lynn, Leslie & Mr. Wardell. Lifting u all up in prayer during this transition. God is faithful and has a plan. You are all the most genuine people I know. I'm grateful to have meet u all. Mrs. Ethel was a tell it like it is woman who had a beautiful heart. When I met her she welcomed me into her home and blessed me with some AMAZING cooking. We discovered we both were born in April AND we both carried a measuring tape in our purses. We laughed so hard to discover this. Mr. Wardell's love for the Lord and his unwavering love for Mrs. Ethel was apparent and admirable. One of a kind. Lynn your very being is the product of having wonderful role models as parents. What a blessing & gift to have. You made them proud. Keep the same beautiful spirit and heart and let nothing change it. Leslie, u are the sweetest, thoughtful and God fearing woman I know and admire. Continue to stay strong and encouraged in your Faith knowing that you are NEVER walking this journey alone.
