With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Oris Rice, Jr. who departed this life on May 11, 2026. Oris was a proud and devoted father and grandfather who cherished his family deeply. His love, wisdom and presence will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. Oris was current resident of Atlanta, Ga, but was born and raised in Birmingham, Al. where he attended and graduated from Jones Valley High School (B'ham, Al). he would later attend and graduate from Knoxville College (Knoxville, TN), where he became a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. a brotherhood he held close to his heart.
